This is my first post in SMOLZZ and feel pet obesity is one of the most important problems we have in the pet world today. A lot of articles have been written by vets trying to make sure all pet owners are fully aware of their pets daily food allowance. Pet foods today state the daily allowance a pet should be given. This is decided by pet type, cat or dog. Their weight and age. Some even ask breed, body condition and any medical conditions they may have. As well as their activity level. Some pet food manufacturers have online calculators to help you determine how much too. Whether it is just dry or just wet or a mixture of two. So it is extremely  important all pet owners follow these guidelines every day. Don’t forget to take into account those treats too! I created SMOLZZ to help make life a lot easier for pet owners to store that 1/2 pouch or tray after giving the correct portion size. The containers fit the trays exactly as do the resealable bags, the pouches and lids the tins. SMOLZZ is trying to bring awareness of this ever growing problem. The PDSA have stated that nearly half of dogs in the UK are overweight. This is very worrying, as it can lead to several health problems and a reduced  lifespan.
